M&A PASTRIES – Shipping & Delivery Policy

At M&A Pastries (“we,” “us,” or “our”), all cakes and pastries are made fresh to order. This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how delivery, pickup, and handling works when you purchase from our website.

1. Order Processing Time

All orders are handmade and prepared on a scheduled basis.
Processing time may vary depending on the product and order volume.

We will notify you if there are any unexpected delays.

2. Delivery Availability

We currently offer:

  • Local delivery within our service area

  • Pickup at our designated location in Los Angeles, CA

We do not ship cakes or pastries through postal carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.) due to the perishable and fragile nature of our products.

3. Delivery Process & Requirements

For successful delivery, customers must:

  • Provide a complete and accurate address

  • Ensure someone is available to receive the order during the selected delivery window

  • Provide correct contact information for coordination if needed

If no one is available at the time of delivery, we may leave the order at the doorstep if safe, and the customer assumes full responsibility.

4. Delivery Delays

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Incorrect or incomplete addresses

  • Traffic, weather, or road closures

  • Customers not being available to receive the order

  • Other factors outside our control

Once the order is delivered or picked up, responsibility transfers to the customer.

5. Pickup Orders

If you choose pickup:

  • You must arrive at the scheduled pickup time

  • Orders not picked up within the agreed timeframe may lose freshness or become damaged

  • We are not responsible for orders that spoil or melt due to late pickup

6. Handling & Transportation

Cakes and pastries are delicate. Once the order is handed off to the customer:

  • We are not responsible for damage caused during transportation

  • Customers should drive carefully and keep the product level at all times

  • Refrigerated items must be stored promptly to maintain freshness

7. Failed Delivery Attempts

If delivery cannot be completed due to:

  • Wrong address

  • No access to the property

  • No one available

  • Unsafe delivery conditions

The customer may need to arrange a pickup.
Additional delivery fees may apply for re-delivery attempts.

8. No Refunds for Delivery Issues Caused by Customer Error

We do not offer refunds or replacements if:

  • The customer provided the wrong address

  • No one was available at delivery

  • Items were left outside and became damaged

  • Melting occurred due to weather after drop-off

  • The customer transported the cake improperly
